‘Little William made great use of our shiny red couch, perfectly sized for little ones, when he came for a family portrait recently. His stripy vest was a perfect match. We did also got him to do a series of gorgeous nudie photographs where the playful little boy was all smiles. Little ones usually love the feel of our super soft blankets under their skin and it often relaxes them so much they end up weeing everywhere!! We don’t mind though – the expressions kid get when they are this relaxed is worth it. Grandma came along for the viewing as well and couldn’t resist chosing a framed composite of her favourite images that you see in the bottom photograph. We always love proud grandparents! Keep us the smiles William and we hope to see you again.

Charlotte’s Big Day Out (Perth Photography Portrait)

Gorgeous 6 month old Charlotte came in for her first professional photography session with her parents recently. Charlotte gooed and gahhed her way through the session with smiles and adorable expressions. With such big blue eyes its no wonder Dad, Tim, is so besotted by his little princess. Kara (Mum) and Tim had a wonderful selection of portraits to choose from and found it so hard to resist most of the final images that they decided on a Portfolio Box to enable them to have a full range. Grandma came along to the viewing session and decided on a beautiful canvas photograph of Charlotte. We can’t wait to present the final images to the Coote family.

Hallo aan de familie Mathot….

The Mathot family are recently arrived in Australia being originally from Holland (we hope the title is correctly translated…if not we blame Google!) and wanted to personalise their new home immediately with some portraits of their children, Joanneke and Pepgn. Dressed to the nines the children were happy to get into the spirit of it all during the photography session. The Mathot’s were the first to see our new display ‘Tin Print’ and loved it so much immediately decided on one for themselves. It is going to look spectacular and we can’t wait to see it ourselves. Printing directly onto tin/metal makes for a stunning visual statement. They are incredibly light weight but very durable and the colours really ‘zing’. We might just have to hold of letting you know when it is ready so we can display it ourselves – just kidding!

Girls, girls, girls (family portrait perth)

‘Mark is happiest when surrounded by all his gorgeous girls or in this case sat upon by them!! 4 year old twins, Phoebe & Zoe plus 3 year old Sofia made for a happy gathering during their studio portrait. Beautiful smiles and flowing long hair was the order of the day for the Armstrong family portrait. Of course with Mum Sonya also having the blond hair we can definitely see the family resemblance. The Armstrong’s have selected a composite of the 3 girls to hang on their wall along with some smaller gift prints of the family grouping. We look forward to showing you the finished product very shortly. In the meantime enjoy being able to share these wonderful images with your family and friends. Newborn Portraits of Jake

At 20 days old little Jake came into our portrait studio for a session with Mum & Dad. We kept Jake busy with a whole range of different poses and backdrops and he seemed to take it all in his stride. At Bliss we will always offer variety within the session and we never limit your portrait session to just one pose or grouping.

Sometimes the best photographs can be the ones where they aren’t smiling and looking at the camera and Peter and Rita agreed with us, selecting this first photo as part of a series of four iceblocks. I just love the way these 3D blocks look. If you would like to find out more you can read about them here . Peter and Rita took advantage of our discount offer that applies to these iceblocks where the more you purchase the less you pay for each one. They are fantastic for stacking as a display or individually. Many of our Mum’s and Dads end up with them on their desks at work.

The last image shown here will be a beautiful canvas print, 16×24 inches in size and will look fantastic on thier wall.

The Edgecombes

Wow!! Have the Edgecombe family ever grown since we last saw them for a studio portrait session at our old Balcatta studio. It was a great opportunity to get outdoors so visited nearby Lake Gwelup for this lastest location family portrait. The location was perfect as the Edgecombe’s have a farming property in Merredin so the bush setting at the lake worked perfectly. All the children had the opportunity to have their moment to shine with individuals of each of them making a wonderful composite that will be hung as a Wall Grouping along with the large family portrait canvas. Currently this is displayed in our gallery awaiting collection and it has become a firm favourite with us all. You can see what it looks like below. The colours look amazing. In fact we liked some of these images so much we have incorporated them into our Home Page slideshow!

With oldest daughter, Hannah, off to boarding school this year it was the perfect opportunity to update their portrait. The next day after the photo session the family went off to Bali for a well deserved holiday. We look forward to Alison collecting her canvas selections soon.

Saraiya

Gorgeous Saraiya Rose came in to us at just 11 days old for her newborn photography session. This little girl was just beautiful. The love in this family was very evident and my favourite photograph is this first image of Saraiya and her Mum, Clarecia. This photograph perfectly shows the special bond present between these two. I get warm fuzzies every time I look at this shot – and wouldn’t we all love to have such gorgeous eyelashes like Clarecia (am I not right girls?!). Dad, Tyron jumped in on the act for some skin on skin photographs as a whole family. Saraiya is one of those babies that makes everyone go ‘Ooooh she’s gorgeous”. Tyron and Clareica have selected a wonderful portfolio box with their 15 favourite images along with the ‘babe in arms’ photograph on canvas for their wall. I know they will get many years of pleasure out of looking at the newborn photos and we look forward to seeing Saraiya again when she is a little older.

Photos for Grandma!

Alana, Ebony, Blake, Cameron and Sienna all came in together to have a photo so that Grandma could have all her grandchildren in one wonderful portrait. The result was this gorgeous bright and happy group photo which is now a framed 20 x 30 inch to be proudly displayed by Grandma. We often have calls for large family group photography where on the rare occasion in this international world that everyone is together the opportunity it taken to come into our studio for a keepsake group photograph. It is usually pandaemonium in the studio when this happens with cousins excited to see each other and adults playing catch up – we LOVE it. It makes for a fun session. We never limit these to just the big group though and break it down into the smaller family groupings as well. There are so many gorgeous photos from this family portrait its hard to know what to showcase. Needless to say Grandma is very happy. There is a suggestion next time we will go on location to allow the children even more room to run off some energy – we will happily be there to capture it!

Heidi Introduces Little Sister Sasha to Photography (Perth)

Three year old Heidi was verycareful to ensure new little sister was well taken care of during their portrait session together. Sasha for her part was very easy going and quite happy to lay on the rug with her sister to have a series of photographs taken. The result was their parents purchased a wall grouping – 3 individual images on canvas designed to hang together. This is a great way to really showcase a child photography session when you have a reasonable size wall you can display them on. We have a whole range of different wall groupings to chose from – even better is that by purchasing a wall grouping you receive a discount ‘stand alone’ prices.

I am certain Heidi will continue to make an excellent big sister and we look forward to having her and Sasha back into our studio down the track.

Zavier’s Baby Photography Session

Little Zavier came in to our photography studio at 6 and a half weeks for some gorgeous baby photos with Mum and Dad. Of course most of the session ended up with Zavier starring solo and with a winning look like he has its little wonder! All our babies love the soft feel of our super plush sheepskin and it tends to either make them smile or fall asleep – both of which allows us to take great photos!! In this case Zavier decided staying awake was best and we ended up with a wonderful composite that is now proudly on display at home. Mum and Dad couldn’t be prouder of their little boy and we hope to see you all back in for a new series of family portraits down the track.
