There still a few things that we are working on though so if something does not seem right, please be patient while we get  make everything just right.

6 month old Zack came in recently for a series of family portraits with his Mum and Dad.  His little tuxedo shirt was a big hit and certainly made him look very handsome in his photographs!  One of our favourite ways of presenting images to our clients is as a composite highlighting a series of the best images.  Zack’s parents loved the idea as well and will soon have a beautiful 30 inch framed print on their wall as a priceless memory of Zack at this wonderful age.  We look forward to seeing Zack again to watch his development.

We had the pleasure recently of having Aansh and his family in for a portrait session.  Aansh has the most gorgeous eyes.  The type of eyes that just draw you in and keep you captivated.  I also loved his very cool looking stripy shirt that he wore on the day.  Aansh’s Mum bought her brother along for the shoot as well so Uncle got included in a number of photos.  Its always great when extended family join in the fun and from our point of view the more the merrier.  The Patel’s purchased a wonderful series of 4 ice-blocks to showcase some of the photos which look stunning.  I love this way of presenting the finished product.  Perfect gift for Father’s Day – we have had them flying out the door recently for this purpose.  Thanks Aansh for being such a fantastic baby during your shoot.

Sebastian was not quite 6 months old when he came in to Bliss Studio for a family portrait with Mum and Dad.  We had a great time and even got the soccer ball out to kick around….or at least stare at longingly for the day when walking and kicking is possible!!  Sebastian was a star during the portrait session with all the laughs, cute looks and amazing engaging eyes a photographer could ever want.  Sebastian comes to us from our association with Baby Expo – so they received their portrait session for free.  We hope to see you again Sebastian when those legs are kicking the ball around.

Gorgeous little Bailey recently turned one and Mum and Dad wanted to ensure they had a fantastic photographic record of this important milestone.  We first saw Bailey when he was 6 months old and a we couldn’t have a more cooperative little guy.  In the 6 months since nothing has changed and he smiled and laughed through the entire portrait session.  It must have something to do with the fun he always has with Mum and Dad as the photographs below show.  Mum and Dad decided to purchase another coffee table book to match the one we created for them in January.  These are a great way of showcasing your family photos and make a wonderful talking point for family and friends.  I have attached just a few of the pages in the book below.  We hope you enjoy them and we look forward to seeing Bailey again down the track.

It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were shooting Vanessa in a wedding dress and Ian in his suit!  Time flies by and suddenly they are back with four beautiful children.  Vanessa you make an amazing Mum looking after these four PLUS running your own business (Hairclip House – check it out).  Emma, Cameron, Benjamin and Kate are all so beautiful.  Benjamin is a very active little boy at 2 years of age and it took some bribing (OK the lollies came out in the end – even the best photographer has to have this kind of back-up!) to get him to stay in one spot long enough to have a photo with his siblings.  Poor Emma was a real trooper with all of them on her back.  The result though was a fantastic photo of all of them together.  Dad, Ian, took the boys outside on the lawn for a bit of rough ball play to run off some energy so we could concentrate on photographs of new sister, Kate, for a bit.  Such a gorgeous little princess to add to this wonderful family.

We have already been introduced to Olivia as our winner of the Glengarry August Baby of the Month in a very hotly fought contest.  We thought it might be nice to show you some more of this wonderful family portrait.  Parents Kristina and Gus were equally wonderful portrait subjects and it is not difficult to see where Olivia gets her wonderful smile and good looks from.  My personal favourite is the B&W with Dad.  There is something magical about Dad’s holding their little girls and just expressing so much love and emotion.  Olivia’s modelling days continue as she will not only be at display during the refurbishment of Glengarry Hospital but also as part of a new display at obstetrician Dr Catherine Harris’s rooms in Duncraig.  We look forward to seeing Olivia again.

We spend a lot of time at Bliss Studio photographing peacefully sleeping newborns, cheeky toddlers or shy children at our studio in Karrinyup so it is always nice to head out doors to do a ‘grown up’ location family portrait.  The Rybak’s felt it was time to get a new portrait done as one of the boys was heading to Prague to live.  They really wanted to do a copy of a family portrait they had years ago so, complete with piggy backs, we were only too happy to oblige.  A couple of ‘extras’ were added in to the larger group photo and all said and done it was a great family portrait session.  Good luck Jon with your adventures overseas.

Our recent family portrait session with Xavier was just so easy.  This little eight week old smiled, laughed and gurgled as if on cue.  Who could resist a baby as gorgeous as Xavier.  There was such a great variety of photographs from his session it was hard for Mum and Dad to make a selection.  Xavier came through our association with Baby Expo and we always love having our clients come in from there.
