‘Mark is happiest when surrounded by all his gorgeous girls or in this case sat upon by them!! 4 year old twins, Phoebe & Zoe plus 3 year old Sofia made for a happy gathering during their studio portrait. Beautiful smiles and flowing long hair was the order of the day for the Armstrong family portrait. Of course with Mum Sonya also having the blond hair we can definitely see the family resemblance. The Armstrong’s have selected a composite of the 3 girls to hang on their wall along with some smaller gift prints of the family grouping. We look forward to showing you the finished product very shortly. In the meantime enjoy being able to share these wonderful images with your family and friends. The Edgecombes

Wow!! Have the Edgecombe family ever grown since we last saw them for a studio portrait session at our old Balcatta studio. It was a great opportunity to get outdoors so visited nearby Lake Gwelup for this lastest location family portrait. The location was perfect as the Edgecombe’s have a farming property in Merredin so the bush setting at the lake worked perfectly. All the children had the opportunity to have their moment to shine with individuals of each of them making a wonderful composite that will be hung as a Wall Grouping along with the large family portrait canvas. Currently this is displayed in our gallery awaiting collection and it has become a firm favourite with us all. You can see what it looks like below. The colours look amazing. In fact we liked some of these images so much we have incorporated them into our Home Page slideshow!

With oldest daughter, Hannah, off to boarding school this year it was the perfect opportunity to update their portrait. The next day after the photo session the family went off to Bali for a well deserved holiday. We look forward to Alison collecting her canvas selections soon.

Saraiya

Gorgeous Saraiya Rose came in to us at just 11 days old for her newborn photography session. This little girl was just beautiful. The love in this family was very evident and my favourite photograph is this first image of Saraiya and her Mum, Clarecia. This photograph perfectly shows the special bond present between these two. I get warm fuzzies every time I look at this shot – and wouldn’t we all love to have such gorgeous eyelashes like Clarecia (am I not right girls?!). Dad, Tyron jumped in on the act for some skin on skin photographs as a whole family. Saraiya is one of those babies that makes everyone go ‘Ooooh she’s gorgeous”. Tyron and Clareica have selected a wonderful portfolio box with their 15 favourite images along with the ‘babe in arms’ photograph on canvas for their wall. I know they will get many years of pleasure out of looking at the newborn photos and we look forward to seeing Saraiya again when she is a little older.

Zavier’s Baby Photography Session

Little Zavier came in to our photography studio at 6 and a half weeks for some gorgeous baby photos with Mum and Dad. Of course most of the session ended up with Zavier starring solo and with a winning look like he has its little wonder! All our babies love the soft feel of our super plush sheepskin and it tends to either make them smile or fall asleep – both of which allows us to take great photos!! In this case Zavier decided staying awake was best and we ended up with a wonderful composite that is now proudly on display at home. Mum and Dad couldn’t be prouder of their little boy and we hope to see you all back in for a new series of family portraits down the track.

Kylie’s Fantastic Photo Package From Work Colleagues (Perth Photography)

Kylie is highly valued at work and as such she received a Gift Certificate to Bliss Studio from her boss to ensure Kylie and her partner Mark had some wonderful baby portraits with their new daughter Charlotte. 5 week old Charlotte was quite content to sleep through much of the photo session. She looked adorable in her red and white polka dot dress. Charlotte did manage to stay awake while Dad held her ever so carefully in his hands and seems to really engage with the camera in this beautiful black and white photo. Kylie and Mark chose a series of framed story boards to showcase their wonderful new daughter and I am sure they have been showing them off to all their family and friends.

We look forward to having Charlotte in again when she is a little older

Ex-Canuck’s Visit (family portrait perth)

Tim came in using the unmistakable accent of a Canadian just before Christmas for a family portrait. Being a former Edmontonian I had to mock Tim and call the Calgary Flames a bunch of little girls. All in good humour of course – mind you us Canadians take our ice hockey pretty seriously. I discovered I had a lot in common with Tim who had made the move to Australia to follow his heart…this sounded very familiar!

His partner Jacqui and children Sebastian and Celeste were a delight to photograph. Sebastian well and truly knew how to work the camera with his cheeky grin and gorgeous blond hair. 20 month old Celeste was happy to be part of the action as well and did a great job sitting on the pink chair. I believe some of these photos were making their way back to Canada for Christmas. I hope they have all been enjoyed by everyone. I look forward to having the Rapaic family back in for more family photographs and I can brush up on my accent in the meantime which has greatly diminished after 17 years as an Aussie!

Koen’s First Photos (Newborn Photography Perth)

Three week old Koen came in with his Mum and Dad for some gorgeous photographs together. All of us here at Bliss love the opportunity to photograph sleeping newborn babies. They just look soooo peaceful. Sometimes its a challenge to get them to sleep but after that they become very pliable and easy to move. I just love the photograph of Koen looking cosy in the green crochet basket. We also took the opportunity for Dad to get some skin on skin time with Koen and ended up with some beautiful photographs together. This new family seem to be loving every moment of the experience and we hope to see Koen in again – perhaps when he is sitting up and full of giggles!

Caleb’s Flying High

We welcomed the Armstrong family to the studio for a family portrait recently. Jason and Jo-Anne come to us via our association with Bartercard as they have a business called TLC Tree Lopping Services – something that was keeping them very busy after the storms at the end of last year. One year old Caleb had a great time flying through the air with Dad. This particular image was turned into an ice-block which is one of our favourite products to display photographs. He also had his cousin Kory along for the day who was happy to have Caleb crawl all over him. It is always fun doing children photography with happy, active participants. The resulting photos can really reflect their bright personalities. Thanks for being such fun guys and we look forward to seeing you again.

Aidan and his Buzzy Bee (Family Photographer Perth)

6 month old Aidan was bright eyed and as happy as can be during his portrait session with Mum and Dad. It’s was Aidan and his family’s first time with us but we have done a number of other members of his extended family and it was great to see his grandmother again who came to help out. As you can see from the portraits below Aidan is one of those gorgeous smiley babies with rolls in all the right places! With a Kiwi connection as well ‘buzzy bee’ made an appearance which ended up starring with Aidan in the framed print they purchased. Our daughter happened to see the print on our gallery wall and thought we had shared one of her own childhood favourite toys. We had to tell her that her ‘buzzy bee’ was just one of many in existence!

We look forward to sharing more tales of Aidan in the future.

The Shah Family

The Shah family came in recently for their first family portrait having seen us during our display at Carine Glades. With the two boys growing up fast Divya (Mum) wanted to make sure she had images to remember her boys before they head off to explore the world. Despite being teenagers (and teenage boys at that!) they were happy to comply with Mum’s wishes and posed for a series of family and individual portraits. The resulting photographs will now be proudly hung in the Shah household. Divya also ensured she had some smaller images to take home to her in Kenya where she was going to visit for a family wedding. We hope you have a wonderful trip Divya and enjoy showing your family how big your two boys have become.
