Elizabeth was one of our lucky runner-up prize winners from our Gwelup shopping centre competition. Yes…real people do actually win our prizes!! Elizabeth took the opportunity to have a series of couples portraits with her boyfriend, Jamey. Despite some initial shyness they quickly got comfortable in front of the camera and the results speak for themselves. We often get comments from people saying “I never take a good photos”. Our reply to is this is “when was the last time you had a professional photo?” Often the only photos people are judging that on is ones taken at home with poor lighting and no real sense of composition. When people finally have professional photographs taken they realise how good they do look and it makes them FEEL even better. We hope you enjoy your photos for years to come Jamey and Elizabeth,

Jennifer and David Engagement Photos

We had the pleasure of visiting Jennifer and David at their property in Clackline for a series of couple portraits. Jennifer had a very busy day sitting an exam that latest 6 hours so she had every reason to feel a little frazzled. Instead she was cool, calm and relaxed. Which is exactly what I think she will be on her wedding day next weekend where we will also have the pleasure of being their wedding photographers. Jennifer and David’s parents property adjoin each other with Jennifer’s parents very much into horses and David’s parents an olive farm. So from a photographic stand point we were in seventh heaven. There were just so many photo opportunities it was hard to stop. We discovered we had actually taken photos of Jennifer about 11 years ago when she was a rider with the Pony Club Association and we photographed the State Championships. The photos were still on the wall which was great to see.

Our daughter was with us on the day and Jennifer’s Mum very kindly gave Jessie a pony ride that ended up lasting over an hour. This day of wonder for her was complete when she had the avid attention of 3 farm dogs who were only too happy to fetch sticks all day. Thank you again for providing us with such an opportunity and we look forward to spending the day with your next weekend.

First Wedding Anniversary (Couple photography Perth)

Duskyant and Darshni came in for a portrait session to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. What a wonderful idea!! The love between these two was still very evident and they were off that night to celebrate at the Loose Box. I was very jealous of this…the Loose Box has the most devine food and would impress anyone!! Anytime is of course a good time to update your photographs but when it is part of a special celebration we at Bliss Studio feel honoured to be apart of that. Marie and Justin ( Couple Photography Perth)

Marie and Justine came to Bliss Studio for a portrait session to celebrate their third anniversary of being together. Thanks guys for letting us be apart of your celebrations. Who can blame Marie for wanting to give Justin a big hug from behind when you see what a great looking guy Justin is. I just love the photograph of Marie at the end…she looks gorgeous. Those beautiful big almond eyes I am sure is what must have entranced Justin in the first place. When you come to Bliss Studio for a photography session as a couple you have the chance to have a series of photographs showing the various facets of your relationship. The loving looks, the fun, teasing banter and showing the level of comfort you have with someone who know and trust. Without a doubt we got all of that with Marie and Justin. Congratulations again on your anniversary and perhaps we look forward to another session down the track.

Fiona & Vince engagement portraits

All the while I was photographing Fiona and Vince’s engagement photos on Saturday, I was thinking, hmmm, gee Vince looks familiar…and so he should! I photographed his daugthers wedding in 2003!!! In fact it was she who purchased the gift voucher for Fiona and Vince to come to us to get have thier couples portraits taken to celebrate thier engagement!! I also photographed Vince’s grandaugther Charolette when she was about 3 months old (by the way Angela…I think it is time for Charolette to have some new childrens photos ;) I look forward to showing Fiona and Vince the rest of their photos in the New Year!

Andrew & Paulina’s couples portrait’s

Paulina and Andrew came in just yesterday wanting couples portrait session in time for_Christmas_ Sure why not! We can do that! :-) It was very interesting speaking with Paulina, learning about her Polish heritage and the intricacies of Polish pronouns! You guys we a lot of fun to shoot with and I will see you on Monday to sort out what we are printing for you for Christmas!

Padmanabhah and Patricia’s Portrait Photos

This adorable couple came into our studio for some couple portraits. They are getting married in January and wanted some portrait done for before the weddings. Padmanabhah and Patricia were really sweet and were happy and smiley for the entire shoot. We started with various couple portraits. Then soon moved onto some individual portraits. It was great fun working with a couple who were really fun loving and comfortable in front of the camera. There are some great photos from the shoot. Here are some examples.

Charmaine & Iain’s Couple Portraits

Charmaine and Iain came in for their couples portrait session on Sunday. The session was a present from Charmaine’s mum who saw us exhibiting at Whitford’s shopping center. Good call Mum! While, Iain was not too sure about the whole deal, I managed to get a few smiles out of him and it helped when Charmaine tickled him a bit!

The Giancristofaro Family Portraits

Venturing to us from Thornlie through the hectic Derby traffic, the Giancristofaro Family were in high spirits when they came through our door. Willing to take some fun family photos, they laughed and joked around keeping things nice and relaxed. The guys in the family did get the raw end of the deal, when first everyone played stacks on Dad, and then when cooperative Adrian gave the girls piggy back rides. Amanda & Fran’s Couple Photography

Amanda was a lucky winner of a contest that we held back in February, the prize was an Intimates Photography shoot at our studio in Perth. But to tell you the truth, I feel like the lucky one, it is not that often that you a couple who are so open to suggestion and really get into the shoot, allowing me creative freedom. Amanda and Fran are engaged to be married next June back in Amanda’s home state of Pennsylvania and these photos were their first together professionally as a couple.
