His partner Jacqui and children Sebastian and Celeste were a delight to photograph.  Sebastian well and truly knew how to work the camera with his cheeky grin and gorgeous blond hair.  20 month old Celeste was happy to be part of the action as well and did a great job sitting on the pink chair.  I believe some of these photos were making their way back to Canada for Christmas.  I hope they have all been enjoyed by everyone.  I look forward to having the Rapaic family back in for more family photographs and I can brush up on my accent in the meantime which has greatly diminished after 17 years as an Aussie!

Gorgeous little Bailey recently turned one and Mum and Dad wanted to ensure they had a fantastic photographic record of this important milestone.  We first saw Bailey when he was 6 months old and a we couldn’t have a more cooperative little guy.  In the 6 months since nothing has changed and he smiled and laughed through the entire portrait session.  It must have something to do with the fun he always has with Mum and Dad as the photographs below show.  Mum and Dad decided to purchase another coffee table book to match the one we created for them in January.  These are a great way of showcasing your family photos and make a wonderful talking point for family and friends.  I have attached just a few of the pages in the book below.  We hope you enjoy them and we look forward to seeing Bailey again down the track.

It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were shooting Vanessa in a wedding dress and Ian in his suit!  Time flies by and suddenly they are back with four beautiful children.  Vanessa you make an amazing Mum looking after these four PLUS running your own business (Hairclip House – check it out).  Emma, Cameron, Benjamin and Kate are all so beautiful.  Benjamin is a very active little boy at 2 years of age and it took some bribing (OK the lollies came out in the end – even the best photographer has to have this kind of back-up!) to get him to stay in one spot long enough to have a photo with his siblings.  Poor Emma was a real trooper with all of them on her back.  The result though was a fantastic photo of all of them together.  Dad, Ian, took the boys outside on the lawn for a bit of rough ball play to run off some energy so we could concentrate on photographs of new sister, Kate, for a bit.  Such a gorgeous little princess to add to this wonderful family.

Our recent call out amongst our facebook friends for a blond 2 year old saw gorgeous little Sophie answer our call.  The results I am sure you will all agree are spectacular.  We have put together a new wall grouping in our reception area face mounted onto acrylic.  This gorgeous way to present your family portraits is already proving very popular with clients the instant they see it.  Thank you Sophie for being such a star model.  Your cheeky expressions and gorgeous blond hair was exactly what we were after.  Anyone not already a facebook fan please join our fan page as we will be having some great competitions exclusive to facebook coming up.

There is nothing like starting them young!!  Little Leo got a early introduction to what his parents love to do when he had this wonderful photo on a scuba-diving tank.  He even didn’t react when placed on the cold surface.  I think we might have a future diver here.  I am sure it would have been more comfortable when he had a series of baby photographs on the cosy blanket instead but Leo just took it all in his stride.  Big brother was happy to be on hand to help out with kisses and cuddles as necessary.  It wasn’t so long ago we did photos of him as a little guy in a guitar case – another passion for Dad.  The idea of incorporating elements that are important to the family is a challenge we love at Bliss Studio and are always happy to talk about how we can make it work.  I am sure Leo has already been introduced to the water and will be swimming like a fish very soon.

Emali came  in recently for some photographs – ideally with Mum and Dad, but some of her beautifully hand knitted toys made the journey with her and ended up being a gorgeous addition to the portraits.  Emali had a very cheeky personality and was a baby on the go which meant we could capture a whole range of different expressions.  Her little blue polka dotted outfit was wonderful and suited her cheery personality perfectly.  Doing children photography is a real pleasure when you have such a wonderful child to photograph.  We hope to see you again soon Emali!!

Lani looked ever so cute with her bow clip in.  I just love little babies who come in for baby portraits with all their gorgeous curves and rolls.   Of course Lani didn’t come on her own and her older sister, Zayla, was on hand to help Mum and Dad.  As a result the family portrait was smiles all round.  Zayla’s stunning eyes and beautiful hair is going to cause Dad real concern later on as what boy could resist those looks!!  The Coventry family came in for their portrait using a voucher that all babies born at Glengarry receive, along with a beautiful frame with our compliments.  We look forward to seing more of the Coventry family.
