Three week old Koen came in with his Mum and Dad for some gorgeous photographs together. All of us here at Bliss love the opportunity to photograph sleeping newborn babies. They just look soooo peaceful. Sometimes its a challenge to get them to sleep but after that they become very pliable and easy to move. I just love the photograph of Koen looking cosy in the green crochet basket. We also took the opportunity for Dad to get some skin on skin time with Koen and ended up with some beautiful photographs together. This new family seem to be loving every moment of the experience and we hope to see Koen in again – perhaps when he is sitting up and full of giggles!

Aidan and his Buzzy Bee (Family Photographer Perth)

6 month old Aidan was bright eyed and as happy as can be during his portrait session with Mum and Dad. It’s was Aidan and his family’s first time with us but we have done a number of other members of his extended family and it was great to see his grandmother again who came to help out. As you can see from the portraits below Aidan is one of those gorgeous smiley babies with rolls in all the right places! With a Kiwi connection as well ‘buzzy bee’ made an appearance which ended up starring with Aidan in the framed print they purchased. Our daughter happened to see the print on our gallery wall and thought we had shared one of her own childhood favourite toys. We had to tell her that her ‘buzzy bee’ was just one of many in existence!

We look forward to sharing more tales of Aidan in the future.

Neo-Vermaak Family

6 month old Zack came in recently for a series of family portraits with his Mum and Dad. His little tuxedo shirt was a big hit and certainly made him look very handsome in his photographs! One of our favourite ways of presenting images to our clients is as a composite highlighting a series of the best images. Zack’s parents loved the idea as well and will soon have a beautiful 30 inch framed print on their wall as a priceless memory of Zack at this wonderful age. We look forward to seeing Zack again to watch his development.

Bright Eyed Aansh

We had the pleasure recently of having Aansh and his family in for a portrait session. Aansh has the most gorgeous eyes. The type of eyes that just draw you in and keep you captivated. I also loved his very cool looking stripy shirt that he wore on the day. Aansh’s Mum bought her brother along for the shoot as well so Uncle got included in a number of photos. Its always great when extended family join in the fun and from our point of view the more the merrier. The Patel’s purchased a wonderful series of 4 ice-blocks to showcase some of the photos which look stunning. I love this way of presenting the finished product. Perfect gift for Father’s Day – we have had them flying out the door recently for this purpose. Thanks Aansh for being such a fantastic baby during your shoot.

Sebastian Plays Ball

Sebastian was not quite 6 months old when he came in to Bliss Studio for a family portrait with Mum and Dad. We had a great time and even got the soccer ball out to kick around….or at least stare at longingly for the day when walking and kicking is possible!! Sebastian was a star during the portrait session with all the laughs, cute looks and amazing engaging eyes a photographer could ever want. Sebastian comes to us from our association with Baby Expo – so they received their portrait session for free. We hope to see you again Sebastian when those legs are kicking the ball around.

Olivia Pretty in Pink

We have already been introduced to Olivia as our winner of the Glengarry August Baby of the Month in a very hotly fought contest. We thought it might be nice to show you some more of this wonderful family portrait. Parents Kristina and Gus were equally wonderful portrait subjects and it is not difficult to see where Olivia gets her wonderful smile and good looks from. My personal favourite is the B&W with Dad. There is something magical about Dad’s holding their little girls and just expressing so much love and emotion. Olivia’s modelling days continue as she will not only be at display during the refurbishment of Glengarry Hospital but also as part of a new display at obstetrician Dr Catherine Harris’s rooms in Duncraig. We look forward to seeing Olivia again.

Hanging Out With Ayva

Gorgeous little Ayva came in at 3 weeks of age with Mum and Grandma for a series of portraits. She did all the right things from a photographers perspective…she slept with the most peaceful look on her face, was happy to be placed in our netting and swung peacefully and then when she was awake looked straight at the camera with a smile on her face. Sigh…if only all newborn baby portraits went so smoothly. Thanks Ayva for being such a star!!

Hatherley Family Portrait

Our recent family portrait session with Xavier was just so easy. This little eight week old smiled, laughed and gurgled as if on cue. Who could resist a baby as gorgeous as Xavier. There was such a great variety of photographs from his session it was hard for Mum and Dad to make a selection. Xavier came through our association with Baby Expo and we always love having our clients come in from there.

Ciara’s First Family Portrait

Little 8 week old Ciara came in recently with doting Mum and Dad for her first family portrait and proved to be a star. My favourite photo is the sepia one with Dad. Just the small amount you can see of Dad’s face is sufficient to know the feeling of love towards his very peaceful looking daughter. Some babies don’t like to get all nudie but Ciara didn’t mind a bit (maybe because the heating had been turned way up and the room was all cosy!). She had lots of cute, smiley expressions and it was very easy to put together a selection of photos for her parents that they instantly feel in love with. We look forward to seeing you again.

Showing Off Little Jake To The World

A very proud Mum and Dad came in with 6 week old Jake recently for some baby portraits. I don’t think we could get two parents who were prouder of their little man. Michael and Sheree just wanted to keep cuddling Jake and I can’t say I blame them. Jake was full of all the super cute little looks and noises every parent wants to hear from their newborn during his portrait and as a result we have a fabulous selection of images. We all can’t wait to see Jake back when he is a little older to see how much he has grown.
